HOSA District Leadership Conference
HOSA District Leadership Conference
The HOSA District Leadership Conference was hosted by West Potomac Academy this year and approximately 270 Health and Medical Science (HMS) students from Chantilly, Falls Church, and West Potomac Academies competed in 11 health career events, showcasing their clinical and problem-solving skills. The event was supported by 34 healthcare professionals, along with our HMS instructors who helped staff the event—all contributing to the development of the next generation of leaders in health and medical science careers.
While students were not participating in competitive events, they could visit the Career Expo hosted by our business and community partner Inova Health and talk wiht representatives from several departments: Pharmacy, Rehab, Sonography, Respiratory Therapy, Labs, and Surgical Services. NVCC also shared information with students about Healthcare Courses and Certification Programs at the Expo.
