Alisa Zamudio is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and certified by the National Athletic Trainer's Association. She attended High Point University in North Carolina for a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine, and Towson University in Maryland for a Master of Science degree in Health Science Education. While at High Point, Ms. Zamudio also completed two minors: one in Spanish (including spending her junior year abroad in Seville, Spain), and a second in Vocal Music. She has also studied massage therapy and holistic medicine including a summer at the Olympic Training Center in Beijing, China. She has practiced allied healthcare since 1996 and has been at West Potomac since 2005 as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Ms. Zamudio  has returned to the Academy to teach Medical Assisting after having taught Medical Health Technologies I&II in 2005-2006 school year.
