Ron Martin has been teaching over ten years as a Health and Medical Sciences teacher. Mr. Martin is a retired Navy Independent Duty Corpsman. His 26-year career included extensive experience as a healthcare provider, instructor, and training program manager. He was the shipboard medical program manager for the Navy’s fleet of civilian ships, and was stationed aboard four ships as well as serving three tours with the Marine Corps. He took college courses as time and duty allowed at various institutions. His educational journey has resulted in a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Master's in Public Administration from American Military University. He and his wife of 30 years are parents to a daughter and son and have two grandchildren.
Mr. Martin joined West Potomac Academy in 2015 where he is teaching Exploring Health Sciences, Exploring the Language of Medicine, and Biotechnology Foundations.
