2023 West Potomac Academy Awards

On May 16th and 17th, all academy classes participated in an end of year ice cream social celebration.  We are very proud of all our wonderful academy students and thank everyone for a great year!

Academy Awards

Students received Outstanding Student Trophies in each Academy Course. 

Our Business Partners awarded students with recognition for outstanding Interns from the Internship Course:  Trilogy Sound Studio, Giant Pharmacy, Dental Assistant, Automotive Media Marketing

National Technical Honor Society students were inducted and received certificates and chords.

Students Organization members were recognized for NTHS, NHSDA, WPA Student Ambassadors, HOSA and Skills USA

HMS students were recognition for obtaining professional certification licensure:  CNA, CCMA, CPTA, DAN-B, EXCPT, and CPR/First Aid

All students were recognized for their participation in the following West Potomac Academy Work Based Learning Programs:  Internship, Externship, Clinical Hours, Career Shadows, and PATHS Mentorship Programs.   

And all students were celebrated for obtaining Employment, college acceptance and earning scholarships.
