The 911 Dispatch Course is back at West Potomac Academy and rekindling their Business Partnership with Fairfax County Department of Public Safety Communication (DPSC).  

DPSC visited West Potomac Academy and gave presentations to 911 Dispatch, EMT and Criminal Justice students.  

In November 911 students will visit DPSC on a field trip to tour their facility and listen to recorded 911 calls.  

Starting in January, DPSC will actively participate in co-teaching aspects of the curriculum with guest speakers, 911 recordings, and zoom presentations.  

In Spring, 911 students will have the opportunity to participate in a Sit-Along Externship Program where they will sit with an actual 911 operator and shadow call taking.
