Medical Assisting students participated in Capital Caring's Adopt a Tree Volunteer Project.  Students donated decorations, time and talent to decorate a Christmas Tree for a hospice family.  Decorations were chosen in blue and silver to represent Capital Caring's colors.  

Capital Caring, Hospice and Palliative Care, Alexandria, has been a long time business partner with West Potomac Academy.  Students participate in volunteer opportunities throughout the years supporting families going through difficult times.  In the Spring, students will shadow a doctor, nurse or social worker as they visit patients.
