Dental Guest Speaker Series – 2^nd Quarter

Dr. Garrett, Arlington Dental Solutions –

Dr. Garrett visited the Dental Careers Level 2 class twice.  She hosted a zoom conference discussing Career Exploration, where she discussed her career path, the dentistry profession, education, and scholarship and internship opportunities. 

Her second visit was in person where the focus was on Career Preparation.  Students gained insight on what employers are looking for when hiring in the dental field.  They learned interview tips, sample questions, quality responses, and what is appropriate professional attire.  Dr. Garrett also discussed the importance of clinical internship experience and taking opportunities.
