In partnership with George Washington University, School of Health and Medical Sciences, West Potomac Academy is piloting the PATHS Mentorship Program.  16 Students from Exploring Health Sciences/Language of Medicine and Bio Tech Foundations classes volunteered to be part of this Pilot Program.  Students attend Virtual Career Exploration and Development Workshops once a month on the following topics:  Academic Success, Managing Stress, Jobs & Internships, Career Exploration, and College Readiness.  In January, students were matched with a Virtual Mentor from GW Hospital, NIH or Hopkins.  Select students will be working on API Research Projects with their Mentor.  We hope to showcase the API projects and celebrate this great program in April at WPA.
