Pharm Tech Students Complete Pharmacy Hours

Pharmacy Tech students are completing 130 Pharmacy Hours in local Giant Pharmacies per the Virginia Board of Pharmacy to take the National Board Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam in May. 

Ten students elected to take the Internship for Credit Course and are completing an additional 280 hours in a Giant Pharmacy plus the required 130 hours.  All these students have been hired as employees by Giant/Ahold Corp. through their Internship and West Potomac Academy Pharmacy Technician Program.
