Pharmacy Technician Students Participate in Career Shadow Program with Walgreens Pharmacies

Walgreens Pharmacist and Pharm Tech presented students about career path opportunities with Walgreens Pharmacies.  

Throughout the month of May, Pharmacy Tech, level 1 juniors and seniors, participated in a Career Shadow Program at local Walgreens Pharmacies.  Students shadowed pharmacy technicians and pharmacists and learned the operations of a pharmacy.  

This is a preparation for Clinical Internships next school year as a level 2 Pharm Tech student where students will earn 130 clinic hours and sit for their National Pharmacy Board Exam.
