Medical Assisting students completed a special volunteer project by making gingerbread houses that would be donated to Capital Caring patients and their families during this holiday season.  

Capital Caring, Hospice and Palliative Care, Alexandria, has been a long time business partner with West Potomac Academy.  Students participate in volunteer opportunities throughout the years supporting families going through difficult times.  In the Spring, students will shadow a doctor, nurse or social worker as they visit patients.
