West Potomac Academy’s Business and Community Partners support our programs and prepare our students for the workplace.  They offer guest speakers, classroom workshops, master classes, career shadows, clinical observations, internships and employment opportunities.

 

Their Human Resources Departments work with students on workplace readiness skills such as resume building and review, interview tips and mock interviews, and dressing for success.

 

Fortunately, several students were able to participate in career experiences early in the school year.  But some did not get the opportunity this Spring.  But we appreciate those partners who were willing to host students and we look forward to working together in the future.

 

Some partners were able to support us virtually.  We were able to add career experiences to our distance learning classrooms through virtual guest speakers, mock interviews, employment opportunities, and a virtual career fair!
