Inova Physician Services welcomed 27 Medical Assistant students to participate in Clinical Shadows in Inova Clinical Specialty Clinics this Spring.  Then met with Inova Recruiters to learn about Inova employment opportunities.  Upon passing their CCMA Certification Exam, several students are able to apply for employment with Inova.  

Giant Pharmacy hosted 11 Pharmacy Technician 2 Students across seven area Giant locations.  Students were also visited virtually by Giant Human Resources to review application procedures for employment.  

The Dental Careers Level 2 class had six students work as Dental Assistants in six local dental practices:  Alexandria Dental Smiles, Arlington Dental Solutions, Ariani Dentistry, Green Dental, Delaney & Smith Dental, and Hughes Orthodontics.

Professional TV/Media Production advanced level 2 & 3 students had five students participate in the Internship for Credit Program where students completed 280 hours of Internship work from local businesses.  Students participated in wide scope of production process including: capturing video, editing, business & management tasks.  Students completed a professional demo reel to show their work.  In addition, they created the 2021 Academy Awards Production as a final project!
