Students Earn Clinical Hours Towards CNA Certification

West Potomac Academy Intro to Nursing Students are completing clinical hours at Goodwin House and Ashby Pond.  Students are required to complete 40 clinical hours in order to sit for their Certified Nursing Aide Board Exam (CNA). 

Students are working into the summer to complete their 40 clinical hours and will be able to sit for the CNA exam in July.  

Students prepare for clinicals in a simulated patient care setting.  At West Potomac Academy the Health and Medical Sciences students work in a SIM Lab with 3 Nursing Annes, 1 Hal, and 1 Low Fidelity mannequins.
