Exploring Health Sciences / Language of Medicine Students Earn College Credit & Professional Certifications

This is the first year that WPA Exploring Health Sciences/Language of Medicine Course was offered as dual enrollment with NOVA. 

Dual Enrollment credit for Exploring Language of Medicine:  59 of 61 Exploring Health Sciences / Language of Medicine students enrolled in Dual Enrollment received credit

All Academy Health and Medical Science students have the opportunity to receive their CPR and First Aid Certifications from the American Red Cross, which is the required certifications for healthcare industry professionals.

CPR Certification: 75 of 78 Exploring Health Sciences / Language of Medicine students enrolled completed their CPR Certification with American Red Cross

First Aid Certification:  41 of 78 Exploring Health Sciences / Language of Medicine students enrolled completed their First Aid Certification with the American Red Cross

Workplace Readiness Certification:  53 of 78 Exploring Health Sciences / Language of Medicine students enrolled received certification
